Day of the African Child, 16th June 2022

The Day of the African Child has been celebrated on June 16 every year since 1991, to raise awareness for the ongoing need to improve the education of children living across Africa. It is a symbol of protest and demand for adequate education for all African children and recognizes the courage thousands of students in Soweto – South Africa, who had to step up and take their rights themselves.

Tea party (Themework)

This term our young preschoolers have been exploring the theme of ‘chattering children’. This theme invites the children to playfully explore language, connect with people and effectively communicate their ideas to others, which influences their personal relationships, self-confidence and self-esteem.

World Book Day

Geita Gold International School had the pleasure of joining children from all over the world to celebrate World Book Day, which took place on Thursday 3 March 2022.

The importance of the Arts

Artists influence people’s lives in different ways. Their work is usually embedded in the culture of their region, be it a continent, a country or even a city. They inspire people to understand the culture and history of their country.

Zanzibar Trip
