Tea party (Themework)
This term our young preschoolers have been exploring the theme of ‘chattering children’. This theme invites the children to playfully explore language, connect with people and effectively communicate their ideas to others, which influences their personal relationships, self-confidence and self-esteem.
After exploring their learning journey with this theme, they came up with the idea of having a tea party as a finale. During the party, they were able to show what they had learned while enjoying their tea with the other children at school.
First aid training in GGIS
The children were able to apply their theoretical knowledge about first aid. They learnt about all the first aid equipment and practised some life saving measures USING S A B C ( safety airway, breathing and CPR: cardiopulmonary resuscitation). We also learned how to treat bruises and what measures to take if someone is choking.
