World Book Day
Geita Gold International School had the pleasure of joining children from all over the world to celebrate World Book Day, which took place on Thursday 3 March 2022.
It is very important to understand the importance of books in the lives of students. To celebrate World Book Day, we organised a series of activities. This year’s theme was: You are a reader
Some of these activities took place in the week leading up to World Book Day. Various activities such as dress up competitions, dramatic arts, readings and most importantly book reviews by the students about their favourite authors were successfully conducted.
All the children enjoyed this year’s World Book Day activities and the biggest positive outcome was that the students were encouraged to read more and expand their skills and knowledge.
